This very comfortable and unusually spacious four bedroom villa (sleeps 10) comprises 200 sqm set over two floors and in grounds of over 900 sqm.  There is a newly added double sofa bed on ground floor (lounge is on upper floor) thus making villa suitable for 10 people. The villa, private pool and grounds are not overlooked in any direction (unless a plane flies over) nor does it overlook other properties. An excellent choice for those wishing to get away from it all. The road to the villa is very private thus no no passing traffic or noise. The views from the villa are of the spectacularly scenic Vlicho bay with its many boats. There are also lovely mountain views directly opposite which are best enjoyed from the upstairs patio. The lounge has a large balcony with comfortable seating to enjoy the evening views over the bay or watch the mountains turn red as the sun comes up in the morning. Layout

Ground floor consists of two single bedrooms one with ensuite bathroom (bath / shower) and the other with bathroom directly across hall from the bedroom door. Open plan dining area & fully fitted kitchen (washing machine, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, hob, oven & microwave). Upstairs  there are two ensuite double bedrooms, large sitting area with two separate areas (one for TV/music, the other for relaxing; reading & enjoying the views). All rooms have own balcony or patio leading out to the pool / BBQ area. Rotary washing line & another separate seating area at the side of the house. Car parking for 10+ cars.

Now sleeps ten people

Owners have added double sofa bed - suitable for 2/3 little ones or another couple, so can now accommodate ten people, or two families sharing. The sofa bed will be on the ground floor so the users will have access to the communal bathroom as the other three bedrooms are en-suite.

Outside

The outside area has been designed for entertaining on a large scale.  Extensive sunbathing areas  - no need to be crammed together! There is a roomy Barbecue area which blends in with the landscaped garden area with fresh herbs. There is also an outside sink to save going to the house to clean up. Huge pergola for shade over the seating/BBQ dining area. Plenty of parking outside the villa - more than enough for over 10 cars. Unusually large pool 12 x 7m with shallow & deep end that measures about 1.50m.

Beaches

Closest beach / bay is Dessimi with crystal clear waters and waterside seaside tavernas. Mikros Gialos is approx 15 minutes. Vassiliki  - a small fishing town with large beach approx. 30 minutes drive - world famous for wind surfing. Poros Bay 15 minutes drive. The island also offers many more beautiful beaches including the west coast with its famous white cliffs and long sandy beaches.

The beautiful area of Geni peninsula & Vlycho Bay

The beautiful area of Geni lies the water from the town of Nidri. The Geni peninsula wraps around and encloses the huge sheltered bay of Vlycho. Dotted with luxury villas and smart waterfront tavernas, Geni is considered the more exclusive locations. Covered in dense forest pierced by olive and citrus groves, the eastern hillsides of Geni have views across to Meganissi and the other offshore islets of Lefkas while the western slopes look across Vlycho Bay to the popular holiday resort at Nidri. Small, safe coves can be found all around Vlycho Bay with Desimi the closest.The village of Vlycho, which gives its name to the bay, is located at the southern end of the expanse of water and has a charming quayside mooring, some waterside tavernas and several shops as well as a watersport centre. The village of Geni is found midway on the western shore of the bay and has traditional stone houses, narrow alleyways, pleasant waterfront tavernas and a few shops. Prestigious villas are strung along the shore and dotted in the wooded hillside above the village. Tiny hillside hamlets like Paliokatouna and Neochori are a step back in time and offer panoramic views over Lefkada.
